My Fashion Nova Jeans Review

We all know finding the right pair of jeans can be a pain, so today I thought I’d share a Fashion Nova jeans review. Ok so first of all, I always resisted buying anything from Fashion Nova because in my head they made scandalous outfits of questionable quality. Feel free to judge me lol! I’m so glad I caved and bought a pair though because I was pleasantly surprised! Let’s dive in shall we.

Araceli Skinny Fashion Nova jeans review

I was in the market for a medium wash pair of jeans that were comfortable enough for casual wear but that I could also dress up when needed. I have a small waist, so-so hips (haha) and somewhat big thighs relatively speaking, so pants can sometimes be challenging. If they fit the waist, I can’t get them past my legs and if they fit the legs, I can fit two babies in the waist pouch! I just need to go ahead and do the right thing and find a good tailor for alterations right?

I bought the Araceli Skinny Jeans in medium wash and when I tell you I wore them just about every day for a straight week, I ain’t lying. I’m in love y’all. The fabric is soft with just the right amount of stretch, and the quality is great. It has some thickness to it and it’s not thin at all which was my initial fear. I ordered based on their size chart and it was mostly true to size. I see they have it in a dark wash too and I just might buy that!
Tip: They usually have coupons floating around so be sure to take advantage of that. Also, if they’re sold out in your size, enter your email to get notified when they have it back in stock.

 

 

And then it all went downhill

After my luck with the above, you couldn’t tell me a thing ha! I got carried away and purchased three other pairs of Fashion Nova jeans but unfortunately, my experience wasn’t as great. First was the always bossy skinny jeans and even though the fabric quality is not the best, I really like the fit so it’s been getting some wear. The color looks absolutely nothing like it does on the site though. Then I got the keep it on the hush jeans which fit okay, but to be honest, the material is super thin and not the best quality. The best way I can describe them are wanna-be jeggings that changed their mind and decided to just become jeans lol. I also wish the waist was smaller and that it was skinnier around the legs.

 

The last pair was the zillionaire skinny jeans which was an absolute disaster and not even worth talking about! The sizing was completely off, it was too big and the waist damn near came all the way up to my face lol. Bummer because the quality of the material was actually really good.

Overall, would I recommend purchasing a pair of Fashion Nova jeans? Yep! I would purchase from them again but pay way more attention to the fabric to make sure it’s not thin and flimsy. Hope you enjoyed my Fashion Nova jeans review and thanks so much for reading!
